Archive: Whimsical

When I started painting in Acrylic four years ago, I stopped working from photo references and began to use my imagination only. Living in Mexico in the winter months influenced my colour palette in so many ways. The culture of that country is incredibly rich and my artwork became brighter, and more lively no matter what I painted. The viewer will see the imaginative figures and landscapes in most of the work. I also began to use collage to add texture, another sensory dimension .
